Hello! I'm Neena Mitchell and I'm a freelance video editor.

I attended the Art Institute of Nashville, Tennessee from 2017 through 2018 majoring in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics then transferred and graduated from Nossi College of Art in Nashville, Tennessee with a bachelor's in Videography and Film from 2019 through 2021.

Before diving into the editing process, I like to take some time to the story I want to tell. I start by reviewing footage and jotting down notes on the key moments and themes that stand out to me. From there, I create a rough outline of the story and begin to piece together the footage in my mind. This helps me to have a clear vision of the final product before I even start editing in Premiere Pro.

As a video editor, taking the time to be creative is crucial to delivering a final product that truly captures the essence of what the client wants. Rushing through the editing process can result in a lackluster video that fails to meet the client's expectations. By taking the time to explore different creative options, you can ensure the final product is not only visually stunning but also effectively communicates the client's message.

I am always looking for new ways to expand my creativity and improve my skills. Learning different techniques is an ongoing process, and I am excited to continue and experimenting with new ideas to enhance my video editing abilities.
